Porsche P'9981 for OS7 by drkapprenticeDESIGNS

Personally, I do not think the Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981 will win hearts, for its super-expensive and limited edition smartphones. For a company that has lost its place in the global market to be releasing the Porsche design P’9981 where they will only produce a limited amount, it is not so reasonable. The Porsche design P’9981 has a plastic bottom that provides a better signal reception, stainless steel body that is wrapped in leather on the back, 1.2 GHz single core CPU, 8GB of internal memory, HD video recorder, 2.8inches touchscreen, 640 x 480 display, 5MP camera, NFC module, SD card up to 32GB, BB OS7. Porsche met with RIM back in October with the concept of the Blackberry P’9981. It is just like the normal OS 7 series with porsche styling. With no exclusive specs, it boils down to just BRAND NAME. Therefore, someone purchasing the phone at such a price is definitely not buying it for the specs. But rather, for its uniqueness. Obviously, it is bound to turn a few heads with the built-in leather battery cover and custom theme. The Porsche design P’9981 is only available in the UK and the Middle East(for obvious reasons) for the time being, but should make its way to the US soon. Many blackberry fans will be disappointed at the "lack of functionality" of the brand. It doesn’t match up with other exclusive editions like the VERTU, Nokia Oro, Tag Hauer... which were built with either platinum or titanium which readily justifies their price. Because unlike these other luxury phones, it can only boast of a well-tailored leather back casing which doesn't justify the $2400 ( 388,800 Naira) price tag put on it - I believe some Nigerians wouldn't mind having one just to show off. It is just like every other BB OS 7 smartphone and can only be categorised as old wine in a new bottle.
